Oh heavens. AJ and I were giving an elementary explanation to Jack (on our way to get pizza) why we don't eat meat on Friday's during Lent. I believe the convo went a little something like this:
Dad: Well, we are celebrating a time called Lent. Before Easter, we are getting ready to celebrate Jesus going to heaven and we give up eating meat on Fridays.
Jack: Ohhhh. So we get to eat pizza.
Dad: Yep, Pizza tonight.
Jack: Yeah, cause Jesus' friends ate all the meat.
Dad: Um, yeah, I guess.
Wow. That's all I got.
